Role Overview:

Desktop .NET Role

Role Overview:

The associate will be instrumental in the development of a native plugin for AutoCAD 2023. This role requires a deep understanding of .NET Framework 3.8 and its application in desktop software development, particularly within the context of AutoCAD's API.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust .NET-based solutions that integrate seamlessly with AutoCAD 2023.
  • Develop custom user interfaces and functionalities that enhance the capabilities of Civil 3D for end-users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features as part of the plugin.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize the performance of the plugin.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in .NET Framework 3.8, with a solid understanding of its ecosystem.
  • Experience in developing desktop applications and plugins, preferably with a focus on AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD's API and the ability to create custom commands and workflows within Civil 3D.
  • Proven ability to work independently in an unstructured environment, with a self-starter attitude and an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Role will be £400-£550 per day
