Senior Project Manager (Contract/Permanent)

Location: England Country: UK Rate: £55k - £65k per annum + Company benefits
 

Position: Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Based at client locations or working remotely

Duration: 12 Month FTC.

Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + Company Benefits.

Triad is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a broad level of expertise in managing projects related to end-user computing, networking, and software development/Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully planning, managing, and delivering IT projects of varying scale and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
* Manage assigned projects from inception to post-project closure.
* Create and manage documentation related to the planning processes of the department.
* Implement processes, procedures, and guidelines defined by the organisational Project Management Office (PMO).
* Convene project teams, allocate workloads, and schedule delivery.

Reporting and Awareness:
* Provide regular and accurate reporting to the IT Leadership Team.
* Maintain awareness of organisational projects that may impact or require IT involvement.

Accountability and Documentation:
* Accountable for the delivery of effective IT projects with successful outcomes.
* Provide post-project/closure documentation related to lessons learned and other artifacts.

Financial Management:
* Track delivery within budget.

Qualifications:
Agile Project/Delivery Management:
* Demonstrate expertise in Agile practices and philosophy.

Government Projects and GDS Service Standards:
* Possess experience in working on Government projects and adhering to the GDS service standards.

Dynamic Leadership:
* Exhibit dynamic leadership skills to guide and inspire project teams effectively.

Commercial Acumen:
* Display a strong understanding of commercial aspects related to project delivery.

Procurement Process Experience:
* Familiarity with procurement processes to ensure efficient project execution.

Stakeholder Engagement:
* Proven ability to engage stakeholders effectively throughout project cycles.

Relevant Domain Experience:
* Bring industry-specific expertise to contribute to project success.

Risk Management:
* Proficient in identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks.

Innovation Delivery:
* Demonstrate a track record of delivering innovation within customer domains.

Communication Skills:
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Team Leadership:
* Experience in being directly responsible for 5-10 individuals working cohesively as a team.

Business Awareness:
* Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to adapt approaches to fill organisational gaps.

Cloud-Based Environments:
* Recent experience in delivering mission-critical/public-facing systems within Cloud-based environments.

Nice to Have:
Experience with Consultancy Engagements:
* Previous experience in working on consultancy engagements.

Government/Public Sector Project Experience:
* Experience in managing projects within the government/public sector.

Active Security Clearance:
* Possess active security clearance (eg, SC, DV, NPPV).

Discovery and Alpha Projects:
* Previous experience in delivering Discovery and Alpha projects.

Our Selection Process:
After applying, our in-house talent team will introduce Triad, discuss the role, and gather basic information. If shortlisted, you'll have an interview with a senior member of Triad staff to explore mutual cultural fit and give you an opportunity to ask questions. Following that you will be invited to attend a final stage 'technical' based interview with a member of the Triad team.
